Hiking / Walking
Pick up a trail guide at Erden's General Store and local Post Office. Wander through the vineyards and forests. Look for the shortcut from Erden to Bernkastel. Check out the path leading over the hill to Trarbach. Or simply wander from village to village taking in the sites. Bicycling
Check out the two multispeed bicycles in the garage (one men's, one ladies') and follow the paved bicycle path along the Mosel. Don't forget a map and your camera though. There will be enough dramatic beauty and lots of interesting villages around every bend in the river (and there are many bends in the river) to keep you busy. You will need the map to find your way back when you discover youv'e gone a lot further than you ever dreamed you would.
